Who makes the content?
Bitcoinsuomi.com is made by a small, independent editorial team. We don't appear on the site under our own names, so articles are credited to the editorial team. We don't use made-up author personas, names or pictures.
How do we use AI?
We use AI to help produce content: drafting texts, planning structure, language editing and translating our Finnish articles into English.
AI works under the editorial team's direction, and nothing is published automatically without the editorial team having gone through it. We are open about our use of AI because we believe readers have the right to know how the text they read was produced.

Where does our information come from?
Information on taxation, regulation and consumer protection is based primarily on publications by authorities such as the Finnish Tax Administration and the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA). When an article has an official source, we link to it so you can check the information yourself; many of these sources are in Finnish.
Live prices and price charts are fetched from the public APIs of Binance and CoinGecko, and long-term price history from Kraken's public data. Calculator results are illustrative calculations, not forecasts.
First-hand experiences and examples
When we describe our own experiences, they are based on real situations and, where possible, accompanied by screenshots. First-hand experiences are clearly marked, and their screenshots come from the editorial team's own Coinmotion and Revolut accounts.
When we describe how a process usually goes, it is marked as an example or a general description, not as our own experience.
Updates and corrections
We only update an article's date when its content actually changes. If you notice an error, let us know and we will correct it as quickly as possible. Corrections can be sent to mediajp2@gmail.com.
